Job Description:
The Technical Business Analyst will be responsible for bridging the gap between the business
objectives and technical capabilities. This role involves analyzing business requirements,
designing technical specifications and solutions, and ensuring successful implementation of IT
projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and excellent analytical
skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaising with stakeholders across the organization, to understand requirements, identify gaps, and achieve consensus on the best technical approaches.
- Analyze business processes to identify opportunities for improvement and automation.
- Translate business needs into technical specifications and functional requirements.
- Collaborate with the development team to design technical solutions that meet business requirements.
- Create detailed technical documentation, including system architecture, data models, and API specifications.
- Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and align with industry best practices.
- Facilitate communication between business stakeholders and the technical team to ensure alignment and clarity.
- Assist in project planning, including defining project scope, milestones, and deliverables.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and propose solutions to keep projects on track.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of business processes, technical specifications, and user guides.
- Provide training and support to end-users to ensure successful adoption of new systems and processes.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement best practices.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and methodologies.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the development lifecycle and project management processes
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 0-2 years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst or in a similar role.
- Strong technical background with experience in software development, system integration, and database management.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in using business analysis tools and techniques.
- Experience with project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.).
- Knowledge of SQL, data modeling, and API design.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Enjoys engaging in passionate discussions with intelligent colleagues and values the merit of the best ideas.
- Understands that not all solutions are easy and is willing to put in the hard work required to achieve goals.
- Capable of creating and maintaining technical as well as business documentation.
